About us

Lovers and passionate about Thailand, we are a group of expatriates living in Bangkok for several years. We walk the streets around the city to meet local communities and explore places often unknown to tourists and sometimes even locals.

In 2021, we created the Explore Bangkok website to make all of our walking and discovery experiences accessible to as many people as possible, young and old. Rather than providing classic content in the form of a blog or travel articles, we have chosen to enrich our experiences with a fun and cultural dimension. We have therefore designed walking and cycling routes like treasure hunts, with enigmas to solve and points to accumulate along the way.

Each of the routes we offer has been carefully designed to make the experience unique and friendly. The highlighted places are often new and isolated from mass tourism. As the city of Bangkok is constantly changing, the routes are regularly checked so that we can easily adapt them to possible changes.

We are volunteers and we do not accept any compensation or consideration in exchange for the time spent designing our routes and content. These are made available to as many people as possible completely free of charge. In the next few months, we anticipate the possibility that satisfied users will have the opportunity to donate to a Thai children’s association.
