In search of grandpa Wong’s car
Treasure hunt to discover Bangkok and have fun with friends or family
Tao and Nam are the best friends in the world. Respectively aged 16 and 17, these two Thai teenagers were born in Bangkok and live with their parents in the Pratunam district, in the center of the city. 97-year-old Wong is Tao‘s great-grandfather. Of Chinese descent, he migrated to the City of Angels in 1958 and settled near the river to run a used auto parts business. Despite growing memory loss, Grandpa Wong recently told Tao and Nam that he had an accident a few decades ago with a car he loved very much. He does not remember the exact place of this accident but has remembered some elements of the journey he had taken that day. With some clues provided by the great-grandfather, the two teenagers took it into their heads to try to find this car by repeating Grandfather Wong‘s journey.
